iBroadcast gives you ultimate control over how you play your music. Robust play queue and player controls, including features like Radio and One Queue, let you tailor your listening experience. Audio quality, track transitions, ratings, and offline play settings are all adjustable. Together, these tools make playing your music seamless and adaptable across all your devices!
Tapping or clicking on a track, playlist, or album will add it to the play queue. If you play a track from a collection, the rest of the playlist or album will be added automatically.
Drag and drop tracks within the queue to change their order.
- Web: Right click a track → Remove from Play Queue
- Mobile: Long press a track → Remove from Queue
- Web: Click Clear Queue (lower right corner)
- Mobile: Queue tab → Three dots (top right) → Clear Play Queue
To queue a track, album, or playlist to play next without replacing the rest of the queue:
- Web: Right click → Add to ‘Up Next’
- Mobile: Long press → Add to Queue: Up Next
If enabled, new tracks append to the end of the queue. If disabled, new selections replace the queue.
- Web: Settings → Playback Settings → Append to Play Queue
- Mobile: Profile → Settings → Play Queue → Append to Play Queue
To add the contents of the play queue to a playlist:
- Web: Expand full screen player → Click Add Queue to Playlist
- Mobile: Queue tab → Three dots → Add Queue to Playlist
Either choose an existing playlist, or "Add to New Playlist".
Queue tab → Three dots → Download Tracks
¶ Random Play
Shuffle and play random tracks in your library:
- Web: My Library → Three dots → Random Play → Choose a category (such as Albums or Genre), 500 tracks, or "Everything!"
- Mobile: Queue tab → Clear queue → Three dots → Random Play
- Tracks are not repeated until all songs in the category have been suggested.
- "Shuffle 500" ignores downvoted tracks and albums/artists rated 2 stars or less.
Share a single queue across all devices:
- Web: Settings → Playback Settings → One Queue
- Mobile: Profile → Settings → Play Queue → One Queue
This setting will apply to all of your connected devices.
Automatically add similar tracks to the queue when it’s nearly finished:
- Web: Playback Settings
- Mobile: Profile → Settings → Play Queue → Radio
If no similar tracks exist, the queue may end. Like One Queue, the Radio setting is account-wide.
- Free: 128 Kbps
- Premium: up to 320 Kbps or original file quality, including lossless
Adjust playback quality in Audio Quality Settings.
💡 Note: iBroadcast Premium supports almost all audio files in original quality, but some devices may not support playback of certain file types. In that case, iBroadcast will automatically convert it to the closest playable bitrate. Read more in our in-depth Audio Guide.
- FLAC/WAV: Web + Mobile

How many seconds counts as a play?

¶ Track Transitions - Crossfade and Gapless
Crossfade: one track fades out while the other fades in.
Gapless: plays one track after the next with no silence or fade in between.
- Mobile: Profile → Settings → Playback → Track Transition → Crossfade / Gapless toggle. If Crossfade is chosen, you can adjust the amount of fade using the slider.
- Web: Expand play queue → Adjust crossfade slider.
💡 Note: True gapless playback is not supported on web browsers; a short crossfade approximates it.
Removes any inherent silence at the beginning or end of tracks.
- Mobile: Profile → Settings → Playback → Trim Silence
Replay gain ensures all your audio files play at a consistent perceived loudness, avoiding jarring volume shifts between songs or albums with different mastering levels. To adjust it:
- Profile → Settings → Playback → Replay Gain
- Web editing: Right click track/album → Edit → Replay Gain
- Mobile: Tap the EQ button on the full screen player, or go to Settings → Playback → Equalizer → and choose between Manual or preset options
💡 Android app won't use the system equalizer?
This can be an issue on devices that use an older audio output. Use Settings → Playback → Use Legacy Audio Output.
Resume tracks where you left off:
- Mobile: Settings → Playback → Enable Bookmarks
💡 Note: You must pause a track to set a bookmark. If you swipe away without pausing, a bookmark won't be set.
Prevents the app from using mobile data.
- Profile → Settings → Playback → Restrict Data Usage
¶ Stereo and Mono Playback
By default, audio output will be in stereo. To combine stereo channels into a single output:
- Profile → Settings → Playback → Mono
