Manage your iBroadcast account, update information, and explore additional features like Premium membership, achievements, and integrations. This article covers account basics and frequently asked questions.
To manage your account info:
- Web: Click your username → Account and Membership
- Mobile: Profile tab → Account and Membership
Update your username, email, password, or upgrade to Premium.
The core features of iBroadcast will always be free! We don't believe in diminishing the free service to entice premium subscriptions, so iBroadcast has no ads, no library limits, and we do not sell your data.
However, the Premium service provides higher audio quality and additional premium features. Learn about the benefits and how to sign up here.
Link third-party services:
- Sonos (mobile): Profile → Account and Membership → Link to Sonos
- Last.fm (web): Username → Account and Membership → Link to Last.fm
Last.fm will scrobble your music and count plays account-wide across all devices, not just the website. If scrobbling fails after a period of time, unlink and relink your account on the web player — this almost always resolves the problem.
If you aren't receiving the verification email, email support@ibroadcast.com from the email account on file to request verification, and we will manually verify your account.
To request account deletion and remove all music, contact us via:
- Web: Message form (envelope icon)
- Mobile: Profile → Account & Membership → Delete Account
- Email: support@ibroadcast.com
You can always sign up again later, but your music will need to be re-uploaded.
Where does iBroadcast store my music?
- Your music is securely stored and backed up on iBroadcast's cloud servers.
Is there a limit to the size of my library in iBroadcast?
- There is no limit to the total size of your library. Very large libraries may encounter storage issues on mobile devices; archiving rarely-used music can help. Learn more about archiving here.
- If you run into issues with loading your library, contact iBroadcast support and we can regenerate it for you.
Is there a limit to my streaming usage, and where can I view it?
- Most free users will never encounter throttling. Heavy users in the top 5% may be throttled after reaching a certain monthly transfer threshold.
- Check your usage in the web player or mobile app under Account & Membership.
What are achievements?
- Achievements provide a fun way to explore iBroadcast features, some of which are not immediately obvious. Completing achievements helps you discover functionality beyond basic listening.
Can I share my iBroadcast account with someone else?
- Due to licensing and copyright restrictions, your library is intended to be listened to only by you, the account holder.
¶ Apps and Where to Listen
Listen to your music on the iBroadcast web player (media.ibroadcast.com) or on the mobile app (download from the App Store or Google Play).

There is no native MacOS or Windows iBroadcast app. However, you can use browser functionality to create a standalone web app:
- MacOS: Open the website in Safari → File → Add to Dock.
- Windows: Open the website in Edge → three-dot menu → More Tools → Install this site as an app. Name it, choose Open as window, and optionally pin or create shortcuts.
